My Story

Shanna was born in Northern California and moved to Cheyenne, Oklahoma in 1984. She graduated from Woodward High School with the Class of 1997 before continuing her education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work in 2010.

Following graduation, Shanna began her career with Northwest Domestic Crisis Services, Inc. as a Rapid Rehousing and Prevention Case Manager. In this role, she developed a deep passion for serving individuals experiencing homelessness throughout the region.

In 2022, she joined The Hope Center as Director of The Day Center, a program originally developed through a grant to support COVID-19 prevention efforts. Today, she continues in that role while also carrying the many responsibilities that naturally come with serving in the nonprofit sector.

Shanna is married to her husband, Bryan. Together, they have three children — Kendrick, Mikaela, and Nicodemus - and are proud grandparents to three lively grandchildren, Kinsley, Kyler, and Margaret.
